With exactly 4 months left until the start of the voyage to America on July 4th, we are releasing the first music video this March for Restauration Crossings200. It features the shanty Wellerman, performed by Slogmåkane and recorded aboard the Restauration.

Greedy Seagulls is a Norwegian music group known for their energetic blend of folk music, rock, and shanty-like songs, and has gained a large following both in Norway and internationally.

Shanties are work songs sung by sailors to coordinate physical tasks aboard sailing ships, such as hoisting sails and pulling ropes. They reflect both practical seamanship and life on board, with themes of work rhythm, adventure, and longing for home.
