
Wreath-Laying Ceremony on May 17th, on the Island of Fogn

On Fogn in Stavanger (Norway), at the monument marking the birthplace of Marta Jørgensdotter Eide — the woman who gave birth during the Atlantic crossing on the emigrant ship Restauration in 1825 — a wreath-laying ceremony will be held on May 17th at 3:00 PM.
The event will include a speech.
By the Chair of the Restauration Friends Association and the head of the project organization planning the 2025 voyage from Stavanger to New York — Ann Irene Sem-Henriksen.
