This spring and fall, there will be a series of lectures in Rogaland at various locations about Cleng Peerson – the pathfinder and pioneer of Norwegian emigration to the USA in the early 1800s. With Gunnar Nerheim, professor at the University of Stavanger and editor of the highly informative website www.clengpeerson.no. He recently published the book “Norsemen Deep in the Heart of Texas

There will also be more lectures throughout the spring and into the fall. The lectures are a collaboration between Gunnar Nerheim and Rogaland County Municipality.
